Wah...! I made so many Decorated Cookies (DC) this week but they sell out so fast! I love using the rolled icing as they are easier to handle (and colour) and I can pack immediately. Hence, I don't need the waiting time if I use the flooding method.. That keeps my DC crispier. I decrease the measurement of sugar I use during baking to counterbalance the sweetness of the icing. Yes...of course I tasted them. Deliciously yummy... but I have lost my sweet tooth some while ago so I've gotta stop eating them As of Immediate Effect..! When everything you take is sans sucre, its a shock to once in a while take in some of the stuff. Moreover,I make so many and end up staying up till almost 4.00am...yawn....! I miss making my regular Chocolate Chip Cookies (CCC) so I'm thinking of packing 3 CCC with 1 DC so that should keep the kids happy.
With the JB concert out of the way, I need to make more in advance for next week's supply but I have one baju kurung to finish off for my Puffy Girl's Qalam Jamai which is...gosh tomorrow?!
